Could someone please critique my photo
Of horses in support of each other.
Did try and clone soome of the bridle out but seemed to make a mess.
I think there is some potential here - I might try cropping closer to the horses' heads rather than show the main body of the horse in front? Better still, next time, get closer to fill the frame.
I've tried photographing horses in a field before - it was very frustrating as the horses would never get into the position I was looking for when I had seen them previously!
I had a go at your horses last night, virtually doing what Ian has suggested. I made such a mess of them, I decided not to post. However, now that Ian has posted and suggested a crop, I will show you (how not to do it) I think the crop is possibly OK, but I have sharpened it far too much.
The colour of your horses was fine and rich and I have spoiled it. However, if you can imagine your colour with the crop it will probably give you the idea of what I meant and probably what Ian meant.
I promise to try harder next time.
I think the tail should be cloned out and the fence extended to where the tail was.
It might be easier to go to the field and take another picture.

The crop works fine for me and really throws out the horses heads but the clone work isn't right. I feel you should have used the fence to maintain the continuity of the fence from the right.
The cloning done here doesn't match the existing foilage and does in fact enroach on the horses back.

The crop works fine and the image has plenty of ahh! factor, a bit of practice with cloneing would work wonders, a nice photograph.
