Should I keep the fence/barrier, or what?

Oooh, that's a very good question; the answer doesn't leap out at me - needs soem thought.

One thing though, the sky makes me think the that the horizon isn't level, maybe sloping to the left?

You didn't ought to draw attention to my leftward inclination!

It may be slightly on the tilt, the sky was certainly burnt out on the left top in, But I guess I could stick in a bit more cloud from somewhere!

It isn't the prettiest fence in the world, I would clone it out.

The fence seems to detract from the beautiful view. As far as the sky is concerned, I would try the magic wand! I did on a photo the other day & it changed the sky perfectly in an easy step selection. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I was happy!

I would say clone out the awful metal bit of the fence but leave the nice authenic-looking wooden bit of it in which adds foreground interest to what is a really interesting and stunning picture.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I have made some alterations - quick and dirty - to be refined later. But would be interested in comments before I spend a lot of time on it.

I now see I should drop the awful Pajares in the top left corner!

Quick and dirty is the word for it, but it has improved the image so it will be worth doing a good job on it.

Me too. Nice pic as it scrolled down my screen, until the fence. I agree with Ian a bit tilted to the left I think.
