WOW! What am I hearing? ... ... and I nearly deleted it. It's only because I have seen people putting on blurred pics that I thought I'd give it a try.

Thank you all for your helpful comments which as you can see I put into practice.

Re the frame Lumix - I also feel it needs something else. I had tried it before you made your comments. I am still looking. Black is a bit too harsh. I will probably pick out a darkish colour from the pic and try that, but attm I am having trouble with THE BIG BLUE ERROR SCREEN and am trying to get that fixed.

I will try a print.

I may even post another blurred umbrella sometime.

Nice shot Audrey - just goes to prove you should think twice before deleting anything! I prefer the second version.

I also prefer to check all images I've taken on the monitor when I get home rather than rely on reviewing using the camera's LCD and deleting in the field (lack of memory space excepted of course but, at today's prices, there's not really a good reason for not carrying a spare card or two).

I recall a shot of mine that got well received on another forum a few years back - this one was a pure accident though, the flash failed to fire!
