Re: butterfly closed
This one is a bit odd as it looks like a coloured in black and white picture in many ways!Originally posted by fluffy penguin View Postright thought I would be brave with this one,
Had a look at others butterflys on here and am impressed.
so how could I make this one to be able to stand out with the rest
please be gentle this was also my 2nd time out using my new camera
Did you do anything to it before posting it here? I've had a look at your gallery and much prefer the other butterfly pic there.

Lovely looking specimen; a moth methinks? But I'm no expert.Originally posted by fluffy penguin View Postthis is one open but did not think him sharp enough?
Are you using My Pics (in Advanced post edit mode) to post your pics on the forum? If so, best use 'Original Image' Centred.

Re: butterfly closed
When you post your images it would help if you included the exif data or gave us some idea of the settings you used. Also is this full image or a crop? I would gladly offer some help if I knew how you took the picture.Originally posted by fluffy penguin View Post

Re: butterfly closed
Good point Ron. If, for example, 'Save for Web' is used in Photoshop, the exif data is stripped. Best use Save As + JPEG mode.Originally posted by lumix View PostWhen you post your images it would help if you included the exif data or gave us some idea of the settings you used.
