  • Autumn Leaves

I revisited the autumn coloured leaves to try out some advice from forum members. ie using some form of material behind the leaves to hide the wire fence! Armed with some card & my new camera, I experimented further! The outcome in my personal opinion depends on whether you prefer arty or specimen photography or plain natural I think! Here are a couple of examples.

    Re: Autumn Leaves

    Hi Jocelyn,
I like the first and third images, which I feel would make fine "Arty" images for the wall, the backgrounds do make the color and the foliage stand out and ballance the images well, the middle image I find bland and boring. A successful experiment in my humble opinion.

Thanks for your comment. You don't mention here whether you have looked at the image in 'cloned out fence' to me that has more ooomph & is natural & 'arty' IMHO! Then again, everyone has different opinions, which is a good thing!

        Jocelyn,

I like the red vibrant color of the leaves.
Where exactly are the original images located to see them with the fence?
Paste me the link to check them out.

            Hi Jocelyn,
Yes I have now view'd the image as mentioned above, and yes the image has oomph and is superb, that image even out performs the two that I like in the autumn leaves post, however I do still like the two mentioned.

I'm glad you like the image. I also prefer it to the other 2! Goes to show the old Nikon compact isn't so bad after all!
