A stunning colour with a background that is not intrusive, and yet it doesn't really hold my attention. Just my opinion, but in trying to keep the soft appeal of the flower, have you not perhaps kept the photograph too soft? Maybe the petals are just too perfectly similar too.

Lovely colours and interesting flower but I think it needs a little sharpening.

Hi Matt,

I think the softening in the petals is more a depth of field issue. The front of the flower looks sharp but the centre / rear look soft.

Very eye catching colours.
