This chap was shampooing ? - finished carpets at a carpet factory which we visited in Jaipur, India last November. There is no exif attached as it seems to have got last in the resizing/compressing for uploading, but the relevant info is :- Pentax istDS, Tamron 18-200mm set 45mm, 1/60 f6.7 using flash.
A well captured shot Dennis that captures something of the action and the culture as well as the local industry. You can see the effect of the flash though its not overpowered the shot. I would say however that you have applied too much sharpening to the image for my taste.
A fascinating shot. It's interesting to see how these products are prepared, possibly some of them for our own UK shops.
Nice composition, including the 'sploosh' from the unique carpet shamppoing tool he's using.
I'm inclined to agree it may be slightly oversharpened in places but, on the other hand, the 'hard' sharpening does work rather well to bring up the details of the carpet colours and textures.
