Hi Peder, I don't know if you use Photoshop, but if you do, the new version (CS3) has some excellent colour to monochrome tools - these were demonstrated at today's CS3 training session for DPNow readers here in the UK. They make converting from colour to black and white much easier than before.

I was looking at a video demo of some of the CS3 new tools last night and that b/w conversion system is brilliant! I'm looking forward to getting the upgrade.

I prefer the previous photo Pedar.
In this one, there is visible darkening thus some details are lost (for example in the pillow).
But what exactly are you trying to do with this photo?
If you can somehow describe your concerns/ideas of what you are trying to do maybe we can be able to offer better help.

          Hi Pedar

I keep looking at this photograph and I have to say that on this occasion, it just does nothing for me. I am sorry but nothing jumps out for me.

I can understand you taking a pic through curtains, as I did at my friend's apartment in Majorca. Sometimes, it is just something we see and it is personal to us, but not everyone can spot what we are trying to achieve.

Good luck in your new home and I look forward to see further photographs from you.
