Hi Trig and congrats on your first photo here. I'd have to say from a purely technical point of view that the image is not as sharp as it could be. Looking at the Exif data for the shot I'd say the shutter speed was far too slow and could be the problem

I agree the shutter speed was too slow but i was shooting from inside and there was little light outside. Hopefully next time it'll be a brighter day

Taken using a Canon 350D and a Canon 75-300mm USM MK3 lense.

The lens may have been in focus, but the picture is less than sharp.
