    This is from the first day with the camera,



    Please be brutal, I need to know what to do to improve the use of my camera

    well, I think the idea is excellent, however, these kind of shots always look much better when the background is nice and sharp.

    My advice, ALWAYS use a tripod when doing these sorts of shots.

      This was my thinking as well. A tripod to allow you to get the background sharp during the long exposure will add a new dimension to the shot. The flames have come out really well though

        Hi,

        love the picture. Just one thought. If you remove the stage on the right by putting you hand over it it seems to add balance to the picture. IMHO.
