I tried taking in all the elements of this particular scene to give interest whilst framing it with foliage to the left, rocks in foreground & reflections of bridge & sky being the main point of interest! The waterfowl maybe secondary advantage! Comments & critiques please.

Jocelyn I like this type of image, as a keen fisherman it appeals to me. I have made a few adjustments to the saturation and colour balance, cropped a little and straightened. Easy to show than explain. Hope you like my version.

Much too busy for me , my eyes first settled on the patch of blue water and the reflection , but were soon fliting around .
I'd crop out the bridge i think .

        Re: Reflections

If the bridge was cropped, it's reflections wouldn't make sense! I guess thats what's great about photography, everyone sees what they want to see! You find the scene to busy! For others it conjures serenity or ideas/memories of natural streams, rivers etc etc. Wouldn't the world be boring if we all thought the same & all lived in ticky-tacky little boxes, that all looked the same! Thanx for your comments tho'!

Thanx, the bit you cropped from bottom, ridded the piece of rock or wood in the righthand corner that had bothered me. The increased saturation, especially of reflected sky, does improve it!
