Just a Duck

I no its only a duck, but I rather liked the colours in the ripples.
It was taken at Whinfell forrest lake.
Is it a keeper or not?

Ash i've got hundreds like that , if it means somehing special to you then keep it , but although the ripples look nice , the ducks too head on and small in the frame for me , i'd bin it .

I can see what attracted you to this shot Ash, the colours etc are nice. However I have to agree with B about the duck, and its central position in the frame doesn't do the composition any favours. Anyway, its a known fact on this forum that I'm not a fan of ducks so I'm probably biased.

Whilst I wouldn't say bin it, I wouldn't put it on my wall either Look back at it in the future sometime and compare it with the latest effort, it will be interesting to if your style has changed

Sorry Ash,
I would probably not bin but archive it as a bad example, or possibly clone out the duck and use the image as a texture or background.
