Waves At Sunset

Hello All!

I captured this photo looking out over our pasture at sundown yesterday.The wind sculpted drifts that looked like soft rolling waves. This combined with the sunset Made what I thought was a beautiful picture. I debated on weather or not to give the photo a slight soft touch but opted not to. I also debated on B&W but again opted not to. I would love some feedback on this photo. The more the better! Thanks in Advance.

Just crop about an inch or so off the top to get rid of some of that blown sky and it looks a better picture Jennifer. Evening light on snow gives a lovely effect, I can see what attracted you to take the photo. think you were right to make the alteratations you considered.

Hi Jennifer,
A lovely pastoral winter scene, Take just a little off the top of the sky to reduce the blow outand I would be tempted to apply a skylight filter to the image via my software. also might try levels and curves tweeks just to see. A very nice image.

I have done some work with the picture. When I cropped out the washed out part of the picture , It left the picture with a uneven feel to it. There was too much ground and not enough sky. It was way off balance. So I used paintbrushes (airbrush also), spothealing tool, and the cloning tool I just kind of expiermented with all of them to get the final result.So Here it is I hope that my modifications did not distract from the beauty of this scene
