Loved the translucent top petals of this iris and thought it might make an interesting photograph. I have since painted this iris and managed to achieve the same translucency in the painting.
Another beautiful iris. You really have captured the delicate petals. Your last one was always going to be a hard one to follow, but you have done it. The beard does not seem to be as pronounced on this one, I wonder if it is the darker colour. I would love to see the painting too.
