  • The work of pewidane

I'd like to encourage you to visit the gallery of Peder Winge

Peder has already had a POTD but I feel his work really does not get enough exposure on the forums as he never shows them or offers them for critique. Whilst I realise that English may be the barrier, it is a shame because he has some brilliant images in his gallery, all taken in Denmark.

He seems to have an eye for colour, shape and form. His rural and urban scenes are often stunning, yet somehow understated. I would love to see an exhibition of his work with full size images on a gallery wall.

Frankly I think we have a true photographic artist in our midst, and though people may not like all his style of work, it is worth the time to browse his images and see how he composes and uses his environment, exploring the colour and form of buildings, streets, trees and farmland. Not only this but his post processing skills are worth a look too as he seems to use some interesting techniques, perhaps some of us can learn from, simply using PS Elements.

    Great work Peder.

    Great work Peder.
Must agree he is very talented. I get the impression these are scanned from film. Hope he is able to come back to let us know more.

I've seen Pewidane's galleries and he is indeed as you say Stephen.
I have also voted for some of his photos.
He is really good also in presenting his photos by surrounding them with nice frames.
His photo of the redish-pink house with the bicycle outside (I hope I remember well) is my favorite photo from his gallery photos.

As far as his posts and written English is concerned, in Greece we say:
"A few words taste like sugar and no words taste as honey"
      His work speaks perfect English!

      Very well done Pewidane

I have to agree with your evaluation. His images are what I really like (and strive to achieve). Composition is spot on and the total effect of the landscapes has a haunting quality.

Us beginners should all take a look at his work. I believe alot could be learned. If peter could understand I would say BRAVO !
