In 2002 we sailed into the beautiful island of Cape Verde on a cruise to South Africa and I took this shot of these two girls. I should be interested to hear your views. It was taken with a 2 Megapixel point and shoot Olympus.
I am just looking through my old pics and bringing back wonderful memories.
I like it. For the mood and colours of the environment, and the friendly (if slightly shy) girls, it's a great image to remember your trip by.
A closer crop of the two girls, perhaps smiling/giggling in the doorway at the top of the steps, would've made a great image but I still think this works very well.
Here is a pic of some giggling girls Bearface. There are few more Cape Verde pics on my gallery.
Audrey, your people shots have never ceased to amaze me. This is simply wonderful and though I've seen it before I just love it. I would urge anyone to look at Audreys gallery to see a few more

I love these images, the people seem so friendly and happy, with your eye for a photo oportunity, the point and shoot camera delivered the goods for you.
A lovely keepsake and memories.
