Hi all, here are some images of a couple of the flowers from my wifes birthday boquet, critique/comments welcome as usual.

It may be my monitor, but the right-hand side of the top flower is very bright.

I particularly like the bottom flower - looks like you bought the same bouquet for your Mrs as I got last month for my birthday. Did mean to take some shots of it, but in the end only managed one, of a gazania.

Both photos are nice. Both need a little more sharpening in my opinion (especially the 2nd one) as that might bring some extra detail out.

In the first photo from what I see I assume that the light hits the flower from the top right hand side. The intense lighting there doesn't bother me at all. It breaks the monotony of having 4 darker corner. Though, some additional highlight diffusion job on the that corner, not on the green background, but on the right side of the flower petal only that is hit by intense lighting, I think it would be a welcome addition.

The second flower only needs that extra sharpening I previously mentioned.
