Night shot - what's wrong ?

Was is just too dark ?
I was using my 300D + 50mm f1.8, ISO 200 ...... but it still looks wrong to me ..... it was 9pm at night, one or our highest tides, and just going over the seafront in St Peter Port ......attracted 100's of people ...... but doesn't look right to me ...... any help ?

Could it be something to do with the ambient lighting and colour temp. Have you tried adjusting that in RSE? TBH street lighting is a bxxxxr to correct

Good call Stephen. It looked very busy before too, with no colour or texture to separate objects, and difficult for the eyes to focus on anything.
