Droplets

The sun was catching these droplets on the mesh over our garden pond and I am sure that there is a nice semi abstract picture here somewhere.

I don't think either of these quick snaps quite caught it.

Since it is quite likely that conditions will let me try again sometime any suggestions how to improve the effect please? I have control of some elements in the picture but not the position of the fish.

I think from that position the background is always going to be muddled and distracting. I wonder if it would improve matters if you got down low and shot with the lines of droplets leading into the picture, rather than shooting from above?
