Old lighthouse

Have'nt done much lately due to work but on Saturday i had to go down to the south coast .
This is Dungerness just about as far south as you can go in Kent without falling into the Channel
Normally this area is very bleak , with it's nuclear power station and assorted shacks on a shingle and shrub ground covering .
But just once i got this small window of clear blue sky .

I like this Bob. The colours are very patriotic and the clean, clear, crispness appeals to me.

Nice sky B, but they just don't do pretty lighthouses down there do they. I mean BLACK, whats all that about? Plus RED chimney stacks Then, blow me they put a GREEN fence round it

Haha, just spotted Audreys post, seems she doesn't agree Now I could show you a pretty lighthouse

Thanks Audrey , i've just seen the red,white and blue , perhaps i should go down on St Georges day

Stephen we have a few red and white lighthouses scattered around our coast the new one at Dungerness is white , but they don't look as interesting .

Bob,

This red color in the chimneys looks so vivid. Maybe they are fresh painted.
As I see this photo I've got the idea of shooting from down-up only the two red chimneys with the lighthouse somehow between them and the sky in the background.
The only color that distracts me there is the green color that doesn't match so well with the red.
