My wife and I are attending a nephew's wedding Walla Walla, Washington, home to 125 wineries.

I like the subject contrast of the 2nd photo. Between the lots of wind power generators in the far remote (that represents 21 century) and the covered wagon which John Wayne might have used (---(^^) that represents the 19th C , storywise I mean). The colors of this photo seems to me somewhat unnatural, though, to me but I cannot recall the colors of US these days.

I also like the color contrasts of the five houses. Are they shops and the second from the left is not in operation? - a photo that triggers my imagination.

Thanks Yoshi. Someone on Facebook also mentioned John Wayne when he saw that picture.

The buildings are all independent wineries. The town has 125. The building you mentioned is unoccupied.

I took photos at a wedding yesterday at the vineyard owned by the bride's father. This was the view across the street from the ceremony.

Read a review on Washington wines that was extremely complimentary. Unfortunately never been able to find any though.

Nice pictures as well, especially like the bottom one.
