You have option to copy the link from your gallery or place it from "My Pics" but delete "thumbs/" from the end of the code it places

Hi throt.......reading your comment made me have another go....I always upload with the "open" method on the Olympus site but even though I set it to original (not thumb) for some reason last night it went with thumb...as you can see it worked fine this morning.

          thanks

Wow, this is so nice! So much 'presence' I feel I could almost reach out and stroke the animal. beautiful shot.

As you posted in critique all I can add is that it's a shame the feet aren't showing. Other than that i can fault the picci. Lovely lighting, focus, dof and bokeh.

Thanks Pol...It was at a place on the edge of some woods where they put food out for birds - animals etc and she was between two trees at the sides and there was a log in front hiding the feet.
I don't like the back leg being blown out but will have to see if I can do something about that on future shots.

              Thanks

Keith, I don't understand what the problem is because the e-group and here use the same gallery system.

That's a super capture of the muntjac - I hesitate to say you were lucky because I believe a photographer makes his or her own luck, of course. Was this a known location you staked out?

My only quibble is that the shot is quite grainy - there is not exif data in the shot so I can't see what the camera settings were.

                  Re: Muntjac

Thanks Ian...it was at a feeding station on the edge of Ragley Hall woods.

Only just got this Kit and was attempting to nab birds so used Aperture Priority at f 6.3 with Auto iso.The speed went up to 1/500 but the iso went mad...2000...and even with some NR it was a mess in the b/g....a good lesson learnt.

I'm not familiar with that animal but nice sharp image and great timing.

It's a dwarf species of deer from, I think, Japan, which was accidentally introduced to the wild some time ago here in the UK. They are very cute and very shy but not native. I believe they are not a protected species here.

                        Lovely capture.

I don't think they're protected - although they seem to live well with the native species of deer. I quite often see them as well standard small roe deer locally.
