Oooh - looks like temptation - especially a suggestive red shoe.

Great image Graham in many respects.

I like the idea but I would have cropped closer and more off the bottom. There is also too much fuss in the background for me - one for a longer and faster lens I think.

Really like the thinking behind this but, like Ian, I find the background to cluttered for the main subject to be the centre of attention

You wouldn't happen to be suggesting I buy a 75mm Lens

I'm pleased that you like the idea behind this one. It was taken in the ironwork gallery of the Victoria and Albert museum. I have for a long time wanted to use the black and white ironwork as a background for an image and perhaps colour pop a model wearing something red.
This shot was more of a reconnoiter location shot and a mixture of another idea I've had in mind for a while.

The red shoe - don't mind the iron - texturally pleasing and for me, the shoe is "red" enough to make its mark. I do enjoy this image.

                    Catching up (been on holiday...)

Personally I really like the image, but do agree about a slightly closer crop. The background doesn't bother me at all, but I think I would have taken it to the top of the step at the bottom, and the corner of the wall on the left.

That red shoe really pops out at you...

Viewing it on this Blackberry screen I like it as a landscape format, cropped at the step and bottom of the hand rail.

Nice idea, but agree with Ian about dof being to much, I also find the brass hand rail detracts from the main subject but a good idea Graham.
