This is my first attempt at a panorama that I have thought was OK. It is an area called Poolburn Dam and is in Central Otago, South Island New Zealand. The scenery is spectacular and was used for filming part of the first Lord of the Rings film. The houses have been erected after the film. The area is a favourite for fishermen and just getting away from it all (no power/water/sewerage etc)

Anyway - has my panorama succeeded. I have intensified the colour a little - is it too much.

That's very good. A superb scene that looks just right as a panorama. Out of interest how many shots did you join together and what software are you using.

        Ron,

These photos (3) were taken on our panasonic. I used Photoshop CS3 (that I am trying out). By the way - I am attaching another shot taken that may amuse you

Brilliant piece of work. Love the balanced composition with the rock on the left and the water on the right.
