  • The Flying Dragon!

I have been trying to capture a dragonfly in mid flight for as long as I can remember, I got pretty close this time....not perfect by any means, but I am fairly happy. Advice, hints, tips and comments etc would be nice.
    Thanks!

These are fascinating insects - by the way, are you sure it is a dragon and not a damsel?

I had damsel flies mysteriously appearing in my aquarium a few weeks ago. It would appear that some larvae got into the tank, either with some new plants or some live food for the fish.

The blue colouration in your picture is remarkable.

Aw nuts! I thought it was going to be a real fire breathing, smokin Dragon. Just kidding Coup - nice catch.

Definately a Dragonfly, not a damsel. Far too big for a damselfy.
In all the years I had an aquarium, I have never seen that happen! bizarre!
