I had no idea of what was going on in the wider world of FB untill you mentioned it here and then this morning it made the BBC News.
I was genuinely shocked at what I heard.Graham

Graham, bullying and trolling happens on some forums too, but we root it out before it gets out of hand. I think the problem with Facebook is that it is so big its detail management is slow to react to issues like this. Thankfully, I believe it is very rare and I have never experienced it.

At least here, images are considered for what they are, rather than what they contain.
Thanks for all the nice comments guys, they truly are appreciated.Graham

That's very annoying. However, you already have excellent professional websites and contacts so you may be better off without Facebook, especially if there's someone there with a grudge, someone who was intent on hassling you. If you're no longer there they'll just have to target someone else.
I don't use Facebook, never have and never will but I have to admit I'm not surprised by some of the things that happen there as the .net has changed considerably since I first went online in 1997.
Here's another report from today's DM. Another example of immaturity to be found in FB.
I had a huge personal website + forum from 1998 - 2004 but eventually had no other option than to remove it when certain individuals began tracking me and other members of my family. It started to cause all sorts of problems in 2003/4 so I decided it just wasn't worth the hassle.
