Another from last Saturday on Brighton Beach - this time sans Mariana and Sadie. I thought this guy was very amusing. The pillar is one of the supports for the now derelict fire-damaged pier.

According to Kurt, a DPNow forum member who happened to be at the workshop day, some people helped him to move around with the shadow

This was one of the fellows that was keeping him in the shade.

Does that mean the shady chappy was not able (i.e. disabled) to move himself? Just curious! I remember the guy in your picture - hard not to!

I gathered that a whole group had over-indulged somewhat the night before and had spent the night partying on the beach, and I supposed that these were members of that group.
