Smithies

An absolutely pristing beach with crystal clear water. I wish I'd had a polariser with me to see what difference it made, but maybe when we go back in April...

A few people who have seen a print of this have commented on it, so I thought I'd be brave and post it here.



This is the uncropped version. I've also tried cropping this into a bit more of a panoramic format which I thought worked quite well.

It's a little place called Mettler, near Albany, Western Austalia, Ian. About 8am and a perfect, clear, still sunny morning; the water looked gorgeous - you could see right through the waves. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on me when the dolphins swam past!

Those make me feel warmer after spending several hours in the cold today with Ann1e - we did have our cameras to comfort us though.

I rather like the second shot and the panoramic style suits.
