Hello Patrick - A Happy New Year to you.

First of all, I should say I just clicked on this image and I hadn't noticed who had taken it.

Secondly, I rarely like mono images, but this one knocked me out. It is the type of image I wish I had taken and if I had, it would be definitely hanging on my lounge wall.

I love the smoothness of the sand against the harshness of the reeds, with just a glint of the sun (moon?) reflecting on the dunes. Beautifully exposed.

I think it is the sort of photograph one would see in galleries where you buy prints or even IKEA. They have some good images in these places - trouble is, they are everywhere, whilst this one is unique.

Really like the softness of the sand and the overall composition. Shows what can be done with a simple subject. Will be looking a bit closer at sandhills in future.

It's a very striking image Patrick and I feel that the sand hill has taken on a human form and shape.
