    Re: Ballast

hi stephen & a happy new year to you
as you know i dont know enough about photography yet to give indepth feedback about your pic,BUT i do know i like it,it has a sort of oil painting feel to it & i could look @ it for ages, something about it makes you want to keep searching in case you've missed something..think theres the right amount of sky in contrast to landscape, i dont realy go 4 borders but this seems to suit the picture well.overall i love it

Not thought about any other shade Andrew, its not something I normally use, but I was given a folder full of these sort of borders so thought I would havaplay

Tim & I are planning on going back pretty soon, we would be more than happy for you to tag along. Things depend on weather, light and tides. We fancy some blue sky and sunshine, maybe after lunch so the sun is in the westish. Then off fer them butties

Hi Stephen. I am a new guy around here and still trying to figure things out. I like the photo and don't mind the border. I would like to see the sky be more foreboding (meaning darker) and perhaps the wreck in the foreground come from more of a diagonal from the bottom corner of the frame maybe. This to lead the eye in from somewhere other than the center. Just my thoughts.
