  • Tree Shadow Landscape

    This was taken with the sigma 10-20 at the 10mm setting giving 15mm on my d7000, done some lens corrections in lr3 due to the fact the grass banking was sloping, still is a little but Im afraid this is how it was in real life!

    Nice shot. I like how the tops of trees form a semi circle to highlight the central tree!

        Thanks for comments, you can't quite see on this size of the picture but there is a very nice sun star in the middle of the tree where the sun is just peeping through, I realise one of the basic rules is never shoot into the sun but Ive personally produced some nice shots doing this, I always try and spend time framing and get the sun so its blocked by something, and always take great care when looking at the sun through any camera or optical instrument.
