  • Sunset Rocks

Taken friday, this is at Buckstones Edge in Yorkshire, this is probably one of those right place right time kind of pics but ide like to think I made the effort

I used on cam flash of the d90 to expose the rock but then -exposure comp as I only wanted a bit of the rock exposed. sigma 18-50 2.8 lens, set at f4, 1/125 sec, iso 400, pimped in lr3

    Comments welcome.

I like this, Ash It's a good variation of the standard sunset and the sky itself is clean and fresh. Nice point about using flash to illuminate the foreground too.

I like it too - particularly the way you've used the flash to bring out the detail in the foreground rock, and the colours in that sky are gorgeous.
