    An old Fiat or Lancia?

By the way, it would be best to use the UBB Code url in your gallery so you can include the picture in full rather than just as an attachment thumbnail

Ah yes - I hankered after one of those as my first real car in the early 80s. It was kind of a poor man's alternative to a VW Golf. Modern engine and front wheel drive compared to the alternatives, like a cart-spring suspended, rear wheel drive, OHV-engined Ford Escort

I was driving my Grandfather's 1960 Austin Cambridge A55 Mk II (the one with the big Pinninfarina wings), in which I passed my driving test, at the time. My first 'modern' car was a friend's Dolomite 1850 (with Sprint wheels ) - but I eventually got the Golf!

A but off topic - oooer, the webmaster will be slapping my wrists!

My first was a 6o something mini panelvan and I learned to drive in a 79 Mazda 323 nback in the 80's and since when would a little nostalgia be off the topic on a post like this?
