Pagham harbour is probably about a 40 minute drive from Portsmouth.
We get lots of passage birds, and some unusual visitors, like Spoonbills, Lapland buntings, Wryknecks, Glossy Ibis, as well as the more usual waders.
Also Perigrine, Kestrels, and the usual BOP's

Well worth a look.

Thank you Garry. That link is very interesting. I shall make the journey to explore the Harbour area.
If you are interested in seeing the birds, at close quarters and legally, then I would recomend the oysterbed site. See my post on the Black-headed Gulls at the Oysterbeds. Time to go is May through August when the Tern arrive.

Thank you for sharing some great images! I must say that I agree with the majority of peeps here in that my favourite is 1st shot! It is pin sharp, full of detail & an absolute cracker!
