Re: Classic Bike
I like the subtle colours and reflections.
On another note - will you be off to Mallory Park this weekend? We were thinking of going but [1] since being in an accident with a bike I'm slightly phobic about them round the car so not sure how I'd react and [2] much as I want to see Mumford & Sons, I can't be errr asked to stand around in the cold at this time of year!carolannphotos.smugmug.com / webleedmusicmedia.com

Re: Classic Bike
misunderstanding. i'm into old 60's stuff. back in the day i used to ride with some guys who had Triumph's, Norton's, Royal Enfield's and of course Harley Sportsters. you get a fifty to sixty guys going down the highway in a column of two's and there is about a one foot cloud of smoke on the road. i believe the '70 was the year that Triumph started using the internal frame as an oil tank. who makes that bike you call the "Black Widow"?

Re: Classic Bike
Don't know the "Black Widow", Vincent made a Black Shadow back in the day. If you can find one now you would probably need to sell your house to buy it. I had a Bonneville but it was only the remake ! Not old enough for the original. Raised on Japanese and moved to Italian when I could afford it. Never liked the old British stuff, too slow and unreliable. Hankered after a Trident (original not remake) though.

Re: Classic Bike
I'm not surprised - one of the original Tigers with the high pipes would be worth a bob ro two these days. Would still be a fine ride too ! Are the new generation Triumphs sold in the states these days ?
