I thought the shots (nude) that Graham of Rainham posted some time back were quite superb.

Your first shot is along the same lines of Graham's.

The pose, colour and lighting coupled with your position etc has produced I think a stunning portrait.

Holly (aka Ivory Flame) is a brilliant model who really knows how to work with the light and the photographer to produce excellent images.

She also makes the transition from nude image to "Art" that much easier by presenting herself in poses that are "classic" in a style of the raphaelite era.

No matter how good the model, it takes the skill of the photographer to set the lights, capture just the right moment, when all the elements combine to produce results such as these.

To do so in the environment of a club night shoot is even more impressive...

This girl was magic to work with, I had seen pictures of her before taken by a friend, you would really have to work hard to take a bad picture of her.

I am told there are plans to book her again.

These images are so sensitive. Most of the models have a harsh, tarty look, but this young lady seems to have what it takes.

Did you have a fan to blow her sarong? It just falls in the right places.

She seems to have a knack of knowing what suits her gorgeous red hair.

Well done Patrick. They are superb.

Just one thing is 'Holly (aka Ivory Flame)' the model in this photograph or in Graham's?

Holly is one of the top UK models and very well known. She is in Patrick's image, I've not worked with her yet.

I don't have any experience of studio photography but I do know the first shot is positively stunning. The pose and lighting gives the lady a godess look.

I like them but I don't love them, I think it might be the poses, a bit dated. I think I would prefer these shots in b&w.

Sorry Ash that type of treatment rarely or never interests me, I do either colour or Mono not mixed, although I am looking at the idea of hand coloured effects in images.
I'm not apposed to figure studies as such in mono but these particular shots red hair or not are best as colour. I did look at Mono when processing and felt they lost something.
Your other comment about the poses being dated, I prefer the term classical.

God is there no other model in this country apart form her! Not having a go at your images Pat, they are great. Its just ive seen her so many times on photo websites and at club level it's maddening. She is a looker, not taking that away from her but too much chocolate even makes me sick

I'm sorry if you are fed up seeing Holly, I myself was not aware of her until I was shown pictures of her by a fellow club member some weeks ago.
But she is so very good to work with, photographs beautiful, its hardly surprising she keep popping up every where.
Being pretty and good looking doesn't always make for a photogenic model.

Next studio night I visit I shall look to post someone else.

Well yes she would not be getting all the work if she was no good at her job. And it's hardly her fault photographers tend to use her in the same way.
