Being Comforted

I took this shot today of my daughter Elise, and my friends little lad JJ.

I took a few shots of them on this little jetty, and Elise was as happy as anything, but then for some reason, just became a little shy, so JJ kindly put a comforting arm around her

The shot was taken with Mono in mind.

I would love to hear your comments, critiques on this. (please dont hold back, be honest!)

If you can think of any way to improve the shot, please let me know.

Nice shot of the kids Ben, and typical female behaviour I think I might have been inclined to crop them tighter in camera and get rid of the sky altogether

Crop in tight and I reckon this is a great picture. Love the emotion in it and the black and white really works. Please will you do and repost?
