Very overcast weather today & freezing cold wind! Our resident frogmouths found a branch that was more protected from the elements! Your comments & critique please!

I wonder if it was possible to have taken the shot a bit more to the left and avoided those leaves in front of the frogmouth on the right.
Both the frogmouths are lovely and sharp. Shame one decided to look up when you took the shot but I guess you couldn't do anything about that

It would've been better moving to the left a bit Pops, but then I would've been shooting into the sun....what little sun there was! Funnily enough, frogmouths spend most of the time with their heads pointing upwards! They think they are mimicking branches or something! It's not often you get them to look down at you! This evening both of them sat on our trellis 2 or 3 feet away from us, watching us very closely! Of course it was just as night was falling & not enough light!JocelynComment
