Hi Jim, I like this photo, especially the clear blue sky and the position of the gulls against it. White & Balck constrasts so well with blue. You also have gos control of the shadow areas. The sort of triangular position of the birds within the rectangular frame works well too.
I'm just left shouting at the top right one though to GET BACK IN FORMATION Anyway seems he listened and is almost there now
Thanks for the comments. I never thought about the formation thing! We were taking a ferry boat from one part of the Outer Banks to another and there were a lot of gulls following the boat looking for food. At times they were no more than a few feet away.

I like the photo a lot, it is bright, cheerful and crisp, if this is a grab shot you have done a great job, That tail end charlie is just about to get into formation, Nice image.

Hi Jim - I like this one too. Normally I'd think that it was a shame that the gulls were facing the wrong way, but I think that isn't a criticism that applies here.
