Re: what do you prefer?
Mihir, with respect, what you are asking us to do is click on each of these photos in order to view them full size. Yet this takes us away from the forum, twice, and to the gallery. then we have to return to the thread in the forum. All this is somewhat annoying when it is as easy for you to post the full size image in the body of the thread. It really is not difficult to workout how to do it and in fact its just as easy as posting a thumbnail. Ian has produced a tutorial also which includes a video
For me, being relatively lazy about these things, I'm more inclined to comment if things are made easy for me

Re: what do you prefer?
Stephen, sorry about that - I am still trying to figure out how this thing works - I used to find the old way from a few years ago a lot simpler - being a visual person all this text bit got me totally confused and I myself navigated between the gallery and the thread a few times
back to the drawing board..

200K is not a limit, but is the recommended size for uploads of images around 800 pixels wide.Originally posted by Mihir View PostI think I got the hang of the upload now - the earlier files were larger than 200kb and not uploading...

Re: what do you prefer?
thanks - got that bit figured out - but do not have the original files on this machine - and going back and forth from the gallery is not allowing me multiple pastes..
am really sorry for this - but got to do this right.. you reckon Google Chrome has issues?
got to blame somebody else besides my idiotic brain!

Re: what do you prefer?
The simplest method (imo) is to use the 'My Pics' link, which you can access by clicking on 'My Pics' beneath the smilies.Originally posted by Mihir View Postthanks - got that bit figured out - but do not have the original files on this machine - and going back and forth from the gallery is not allowing me multiple pastes..

When 'My Pics' opens it'll show thunbnails of the pics in your gallery. Choose 'original image' and 'inline' from the dropdown options along the top and click on the picci you want to include in your post.
Also experiment and play in the user test board if you want to go somewhere to gain more confidence with the forum tools. That can be found HERE Just start a new thread an experiment as much as you wish.
I'm attaching a screenshot showing the options needed in the 'my pics' window. Hope it might help.
