An advantage of the compact camera is that no one takes much notice of you, even in shops. Here is one way of passing the time while your nearest and dearest is trying on shoes! Don't forget to take off your sunglasses though, cos the pictures may turn out on the bright side! All comments most welcome, no doubt I will be in the same position again sometime.
Interesting picture Kurt, its a bit of the old infinity mirror effect.
I'm never quite sure about this type of thing, when the camera used is visible in the photos, however use of the mirror does open creative possibilities, and you do need something to kill time whilst in the shop
I would have had to start wandering around the shop to try to get a position without the camera, and then I would be stuck for a subject. Perhaps I should have linked the original picture.
I thought it was interesting that the camera is pointed at the viewer of the picture, when usually you are looking in the direction of the camera. Should I have cropped out the first mirror frame and done a bit of straightening of the shot?
Absolutely, I bought it specifically for a concert last year for the compact size and great zoom range with built in stabilization, so good I decided to keep it

. . . And it is small enough to always take with you.

Here is the variation of the picture that I mentioned above. I quite like the slightly surreal feeling to this, how about you?
