Re: Water Droplet - Frozen in Time
You captured superb swirls and circles around the droplet. Kudos to Thomas for knowing exactly how and where to aim the droplet, eh.
TBH I like seeing the little spider there. It adds something extra to make it 'not-just-another run-of -the-mill-droplet' picci. And it also had the initiative to get itself in on the act, posed nicely too. So I reckon the poor little fella doen't deserve being cloned out and jettisoned into oblivion.

Re: Water Droplet - Frozen in Time
I know a doctor in the USA who has refined his droplet photography to a degree where his success now earns him a small living from his prints.
I think you have done very well (with the help of Thomas
) considering the conditions. I'm sure we could be seeing more from you on this subject in the future.

Re: Water Droplet - Frozen in Time
Thanks Pol and Barrie, Pol I think we will leave little spidey, me and Thomas agree and think he should have some of the stardom
Barrie, Ide love to be able to make a living doing any type of photography as Im sure most would on this forum
I do love my macro work, I did attempt the droplet shot once before with the d200 and a flashgun but that took hours rather than 10 minutes, I thinking alot of that was to do with not knowing what I was doing and the whole setup was a bit complicated.
Do you have a link to some of your doctor friends shots, Ide like to see.
cheers
Ash.
