    Mike, these filters essentially are very dark ND filters, they stop stop light and therefore lengthen the exposure so that anything that moves becomes blurred. To look at one they look virtually black, and if you look through the viewfinder you pretty much cannot see anything (depending on the ambient light). The workflow needs rethinking and exposures need to be worked out in your head, though if you use an iPhone, there is an app for that
