  • Lanzarote Busker

Taken last year on our holiday, you probably can't see but he has a lit ciggy jammed in the strings at the head stock, now thats rock n roll

I did politely ask if I could take the picture while dumping a 2 euro coin into his basket, and surprisingly in english his response was' it would be rude not to'

Most of the time, be cheeky and a little persuation you can get the shot without being shott

I like this picture Ash, perhaps a little burnt out just above the horizon on the right, but the whole scene comes together for me.

Pity his guitar is going directly through the notice, it would have looked good in the sky. I also like the reflection of his basket.

      Re: Lanzarote Busker

It was very bright sunlight and I did not have a polariser so some toning down in photoshop has been applied. I might try a tighter crop of the man.I never noticed the sign before well spotted.
      cheers
      Ash.

Ash, I think you could crop away most of this and loose what looks too much like a studioish background. Then perhaps retain the guitarist and money dish in portrait mode.
The sign behind him could then be removed and hopefully, after returning it to colour, you will be left with an improvement on what is presented here.
Sorry for being so negative on this one Ash

Thanks guys for your input, I no this is a different shot but this seams to fill the points you were making, I did like the motion of the hand in the first shot but maybe this is a better shot overall, what do you think?

A far better photograph Ash and now with a bit of humour.

I agree with Tom as to it being a better shot, but I did like the motion blur on the hand in the first offering
