Tulip

Dear All,

Been a long time since I posted on this part of the forums but thought this image would benefit from feedback.

Taken with the EP 1 and 20mm Panasonic lens using natural light and represents my first try of flower shots with the olympus.

Nicely done Josh, the Tulip is spot on, though I'm not over keen on the background, it somehow seems a bit blotchy.

The E-P1 and 20mm lens has not let you down though. I've just been looking through some of my Canada shots taken with it and they are tack sharp with the standard kit lens

The background is paper I bought from WHSmiths today. I agree with you comment. I have other colours as well but they all have the texture.

Nice shot, but the tulip looks a bit "flat" to me (may be my monitor though). I like the second version best. I don't mind the background apart from the slight crease centre left.
