Being honest Dana, its not really my kind of photography. Its a little boring, I reckon what would have made this more interesting would have been using the narrow depth of field and having a singer thrown out of focus in the background. The angle for some reason feels unatural. Just my view, and I am sure some of the others will enjoy the image, as technically it looks ok, lighting and focus are good.

Thank you for the honesty, I really do appreciate it. I think you are spot on as you were with the other shot I posted. I just liked the look of the mic and thought it would make a cool shot. I do need to get creative, but just making the shots look right is taking all of my effort recently with my newly purchased camera....stay tuned for something a little more inspired....I hope!
