Fuji Download problem

Hello everyone. I'm new to dpm, and have a problem with a new camera that I bought. I have a Fuji f31fd, which I bought recently and use mainly for underwater photography. The problem appeared when i tried to install the Fuji program on the computer. Although the program installed, it doesn't work. I thought the problem could be that I use Vista and of course nothing is compatible with it. So I downloaded the Vista patch from the Fuji site, - nothing, I uninstalled the program and re-installed, but left the patch on the computer-nothing. The Fuji site has nothing to help and no contact numbers so I wondered if anyone has had the same problem?

Hi, First welcome to DPNow. I don't have an answer to your problem but can offer a work-a-round that may help. Your computer sounds like a new model as you are running Vista. Most new computers have a card slot which you can place your memory card into. If not then purchasing a card reader is a good idea. Card readers are usually easier to use and don't require any software to be installed. If you do have a card slot just take the memory card out of your camera and slide it into the computer. Windows will do the downloading for you.
Ps Did you also load the USB driver from the disk. Your software needs this to communicate with the camera.
