Hi Matilda - welcome to the DPNow forum.

Are you looking for info to help you use your camera or for post processing your pictures in, say, Photoshop? Which DSLR did you go for?

Matilda, there are a couple of what look like excellent books available for people such as yourself. Seems like a small price to pay when you have invested so much on the camera kit. If you go to the Amazon site and type in the search window DSLR it will take you straight to them.

One of our partners, Peter iNova, is an established eBook author, publishing a range of 'beyond' the camera manual guides specifically aimed at users of selected camera models. I think one of these would be ideal for you. His 400D eBook isn't out yet, he has done a 350D one.

If you want training with feedback once you're more familiar with your camera, some colleges/universities offer online training. I've actually just enrolled for a 6 week online general digital photography course with our local uni so I'll let you know how it goes.
