One thousandth gallery photo!

I'm pleased to say that the new DPNow Gallery has reached a happy milestone with the one thousandth picture uploaded today.

I want to upload a few photo's myself but see most of what's there already is bigger than what I normally use and makes mine look small......as they say

What is the best (average) size in your opinion?

Hi Mick, surely what others do should not be the worry. You must size to whatever you are comfortable with. It is however surely sensible to have a size that allows the viewer to appreciate your image to its best. From a personal point of view I tend to size to around 800pix

Hi Mick,
I try to make mine as near 800 by 600 for landscape or reverse fore portrait, I think the max width of 800 is more important? the height less so?
