When I review my gallery and scroll through the thumbnails above the main picture frame I see other people's images after mine - is this right or do we have a problem with the software?

Re: Gallery Question
I did get a database error report yesterday but couldn't see any problems. you do need to be logged in to review your images exclusively, but there is also a panel of other randonly selected images on one side.Originally posted by StuartR View PostWhen I review my gallery and scroll through the thumbnails above the main picture frame I see other people's images after mine - is this right or do we have a problem with the software?
There is a public category that you may have associated with your images by default - I'll look at it, but if you could email me any screen grabs or other helpful information that would be useful.

Re: Gallery Question
Ian
Here's a screen-shot as requested. I'd selected Pol's gallery but all the thumbnails above the main picture on bottom right (which is Pol's) are mine? When I selected bigbob's gallery I only saw his thumbnails (which is what I expected) when I selected mine I see my thumbnails but preceded and proceeded by other people's thumbnails.
I selected Andy's gallery and using the "more" option to the right of the thumbnails I could scroll through all the thumbnails for what seemed like all the pictures in all galleries
Either I'm confused (which is quite possible
) or the software is.

Re: Gallery Question
Hi Stuart - yes I see the problems now, thanks. Looks like a database problem. It may take a day or two to fix as it's the weekend and I'm not the database expert. Sorry for the inconvenience!Originally posted by StuartR View PostIan

Re: Gallery Question
OK - good news is that it doesn't appear that there is a fault with the database, more an admin problem! I'm still not very experienced with configuring PhotoPost Pro and it looks like what you were viewing was not your album but simply one of your images. The thumbnail strip across the top contained randomly selected images from elsewhere, as did the vertical strip on the left.Originally posted by Ian View PostHi Stuart - yes I see the problems now, thanks. If you go to your own album, you will see that only your images are show.
I'll have a look at the configuration again tonight and try to make it less confusing. Having looked at some other PhotoPost galleries today, I can see there is plenty of potential for improving the layout and content of the DPNow gallery.
